Biology Student Projects Main Page

On this page you will find links to your individual and group project pages. You will only have access to your own pages and groups to which you have been assigned.  You will also have access to project review pages where you will critique and give constructive feedback on your classmate's work.

Scholar Tip:      Be sure to use proper wiki ettiqette when working in a group.

  • It is bad manners to steal the lock from another person.  Always ask permission before stealing the lock. Exception: if the page/lock has been idle for more than 10 minutes, it is acceptable to steal the lock.
  • Make sure that your comments are thoughtful, helpful, and appropriate to be printed in public. The comments section is NOT the place to have causal, social conversation. Save your for your social conversations (including texting  abbreviations -i.e. lol, gtg) for  facebook or cell phone texting .

Use the Page History to your advantage. You can:

  • Revert to a previous revision by using the page history feature (located in the upper right-hand corner of your page).
  • Compare different revisions to see changes that have been made.

  • Know who has been working on the project. Hint: I will use this feature regularly to determine who is contributing to group projects as well as working on individual projects! If you wait until the last minute to work on a project, I will know...
